The
photographs reflect the principal branches of the Ukrainian Parliament activity
during the year 2009. In particular, there are represented the activity of the
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Leaders, parliamentary committees, the People´s
Deputies of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate. The
Photographs display the international activity of the Verkhovna Rada of
Ukraine, the work of the parliamentarians in the course of the plenary meetings
and hearings.
58 photographs among 1200 were chosen for the exhibition and were placed in the chapter "Photo News" of the web portal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The Authors of the works are parliamentary journalists of "Holos Ukrainy" newspaper and "Viche" magazine.
The book part of the exhibition represents more then 60 books and brochures.
Moreover, the exposition disclose the publications of the Laws of Ukraine, adopted in the course of the second and third sessions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the Sixth Convocation, informational-analytic materials published by the Legislation Institute, Parliamentary publishing house and Court of Auditors of Ukraine.
Exposition is situated in the lobby of the third floor of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine session house.
